Associate - Communications and Operations

Job Summary: 
The Associate works closely with the team and the Chief of Staff handling scheduling and  administrative operations for the CEO. The candidate must be an experienced writer with strong research skills. The position is an entry level position requiring at least a year of work experience working on client deliverables. Some experience in scheduling and office management would be desired. A self-starter with a proven track record, the candidate for this position must able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment as well as have strong written and verbal communication skills. This position requires high–energy, critical and analytical thinking, and a desire to grow and advance in the company and as a communications professional. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Plan, coordinate and ensure the CEO's schedule is followed and respected
  • Implement communications strategies across client accounts to deliver measurable outcomes for clients, including research and writing and editing press materials
  • Work closely with Chief of Staff, CEO and team to execute client goals and prepare written client deliverables
  • Provide operational support for daily client and staff needs, including scheduling, planning, account coordination, invoicing, timeline review, and logistics
  • Maintain social media, website management, and digital media platforms
  • Provide planning and onsite logistical support for events
  • Provide management and administrative support to CEO
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Desired Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years experience in communications, administration and scheduling
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proactive, results-oriented, creative problem solver 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment and with employees of all levels 
  • Willingness to help grow the company's brand 
  • Proven time management and organizational skills 
  • Excellent attention-to-detail and ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
